The Lab’s Postdoc Program and Postdoc Association are jointly hosting Berkeley Lab’s first-ever Postdoc Career Fair. This full-day event on Friday, July 26, is free for Lab postdocs. Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. https://postdoc-career-fair.lbl.gov/

UC President Janet Napolitano participated in a town hall on June 20. She shared her views on national security, using science to protect the nation’s infrastructure and cyber systems, and the voting process. Napolitano then took audience questions. With the transition to Perlmutter, researchers will use GPUs for their simulation, data processing, and machine learning workloads.
