UC insurance providers will host brown bags on their mental health services. On May 20, the Employee Assistance Program (10:30 a.m.), Kaiser (11:30 a.m.), and Blue & Gold (1:30 p.m.). will give presentations in Perseverance Hall. On May 21, UC Care will present at 2:30 in Bldg. 33-106.

The Leading for Respect (supervisors) and Respect in the Workplace (all employees) workshops will be Thursday, May 9. The training focuses on respect, acceptable workplace conduct, and the types of behaviors that lead to a respectful and inclusive workplace. Email eeoaa@lbl.gov to request a seat.

Early career scientists and postdocs interested in taking part in this year’s research slam need to register their intent to enter by May 31. The first prize is $3,000, plus participants receive valuable experience in how to explain their research project in a compelling way. https://slam.lbl.gov/
