Both employees and affiliates who work on site can be tested weekly for COVID. There is no cost, and results are usually available within 48 hours. As VP Kamala Harris received her final COVID-19 vaccine dose live on CNN and C-SPAN Tuesday, NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins remarked how Harris’ mother was a scientist who once worked at the Lab (at 1:17).
