State Energy Commissioner Visits Lab
The California Energy Commission’s Janea Scott visited the Lab yesterday to discuss emerging technologies that support the state’s clean energy goals. SSURF Hosts Congressional Staff Visit to the Lab
Congressional staffers visited Berkeley Lab on Tuesday, hosted by the Society for Science at User Research Facilities (SSURF). They toured the ALS (pictured), NERSC, and ESnet. Singaporean Minister of Environment, Water Visits Lab
Masagos Zulkifli, the Minister of Environment and Water for Singapore, visited the Lab on July 12. Deputy Lab Director Horst Simon gave the minister and his delegation an overview of the Lab, which was followed by research presentations from scientists Amol Phakde, Ashok Gadgil, and Hanna Breunig.
State Assemblymember Buffy Wick Visits the Lab
Assemblymember Buffy Wicks (left) recently visited the Lab and met with researchers to discuss high performance computing and earthquake and climate modeling, biosciences and the circular economy, air quality and wildfire smoke, microgrids, and helping the state build resilience to climate change.

Lab Launches New Website for Visitors
Berkeley Lab has a new website for visits and tours designed to provide visitors with practical guidelines, forms, and information. Visit requests involving high-level guests from U.S. and foreign government offices, academia, and industry leaders should be directed to the Protocol Office.
