President’s Council of Science Advisors Visits Lab
The President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) visited the Lab on Jan. 16 for discussions on deepening federal laboratories’ engagement in the U.S. R&D enterprise. PCAST members provide policy recommendations on strengthening U.S. leadership in science and technology.
Congressman Garret Graves Visits Lab
U.S. Representative Garret Graves (Louisiana’s 6th District) visited the Lab on Dec. 7. He met with Director Witherell and toured the ALS and Foundry. Graves (right) is the ranking member of the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis and serves on the House Natural Resources Committee.
Lab Visit by Energy Commissioner Patty Monahan
California Energy Commissioner Patty Monahan visited the Lab on Dec. 6 to discuss transportation modeling, emissions, and EV charging.
