Tringe Named Director of Bioscience’s EGSB Division
Senior Scientist Susannah Tringe, known for her work in advancing the field of metagenomics, is the new director of Bioscience’s EGSB Division after serving as the interim division director. Lab’s Bill Collins Named 2020 AGU Fellow
The director of the Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division, Bill Collins, has been named a 2020 American Geophysical Union Fellow, one of 62 individuals named to this year’s class. Noël Bakhtian to Lead New Energy Storage Center

COVID-19 Planning Update
This week the Lab has proposed to DOE to move into Federal Phase 2 and add an additional 300 workers at the Lab sites starting September 28. The numbers will be adjusted up or down in the coming months based on the COVID-19 conditions in our local community and with DOE approval. https://covid.lbl.gov/
