A planned utility outage will occur from Tuesday, August 16, at noon through Sunday, August 21, at 10:00 p.m. in 21 buildings in the East Canyon area. The exit side of Grizzly Gate is temporarily closed. Repairs are underway on the exit mechanism and should be completed early next week. The 600-strong goat herd from “Goats R Us” is currently munching its way across the hilly terrain of the Lab as part of the Lab’s fire mitigation plan. The Lab is testing its drinking water sources, such as kitchen sinks and water fountains, to ensure they meet water quality standards following two years of limited use during the pandemic.
