Changes In Lab Protective Services and Site Security
The groups formerly with Protective Services have been reorganized to more closely align with the Operations functions where their work is focused. Emergency Management is in EHS, the Fire Department is in Facilities, and Site Security resides in Operations. Cafeteria Main Dining Area Closing at 1 p.m. Today
The main dining area in the cafeteria will close at 1 p.m. today to accommodate a special event. The cafeteria is open until 2 p.m., but food will need to be ordered “to go” or or consumed in the patio area. Contact Andrea Taylor (x7272) for more information.
Downtown Shuttle Stop Moved to Shattuck & University Tomorrow
Due to electrical work at Shattuck and Addison, the Downtown Berkeley BART shuttle stop will be relocated to the south east corner of Shattuck and University on Thursday, May 23. This relocation is for one day only and the normal stop will return to service on Friday, May 24.
Electrical Shutdowns Planned for Two Saturdays in July and August
Facilities is planning electrical maintenance shutdowns to several Lab buildings on July 13 and August 10. Road Closure Near Bldg. 77 Scheduled for Tomorrow
On Saturday, April 13, Glaser Road will be closed between Building 32 and Lawrence Road as part of the Building 77A Addition Project. The closure will run from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A flagger will be posted to direct traffic.
