A poster series featuring women in STEM who have graduated from the UC system is on display in the lobby outside the Building 50 Auditorium. The “Remarkable Women of UC” series was developed based on nominations from each of the UCs. Originally called Armistice Day, Nov. 11 marked the signing of the armistice that ended WWI in 1918. In 1954 it was changed to Veterans Day to honor all veterans. The Lab is honoring its veterans by hosting a lunch on Friday, Nov. 15.
