No COVID Test Kit Pickups Nov. 25-26
The Lab’s COVID testing company, BasisDx, is pausing testing over Thanksgiving. There will be no test kit pickups on Thursday, Nov. 25, or Friday, Nov. 26. LETS Code Available for Vaccinating Children
Employees are granted up to four hours of administrative leave per dose to accompany a family member to get their COVID-19 vaccination. This also applies to employees with children. Free COVID self-test kits are available in the Building 50 auditorium lobby, room 220A in Building 76, and the Potter Street lobby. To avoid test result delays, please remember to put your name and date of birth on the sample tube. COVID Vaccination Proof Requirements Expand Across Bay Area
Contra Costa County joins the cities of Berkeley, San Francisco, and San Jose in requiring proof of COVID vaccination to enter certain indoor businesses. State Provides QR Code of Vaccine Record
Store a QR code on your phone to replace paper COVID vaccination records. This will make it easier to enter private businesses that are increasingly asking for proof of vaccination to slow the spread of COVID. California Offers Digital Vaccination Records
California is offering a digital record of COVID-19 vaccination to those who received their vaccinations through a provider in California. Click for more information and directions. Store COVID-19 Self Test Kits at Room Temperature
BasisDx COVID-19 self-test kits should be kept at room temperature. Heat from being left in a car can affect the quality of the test results. Those in Protocol B can test the first day on a Lab site each week.
