Lab Scenes: Keeping the Gates Open
Among those helping to keep the Lab open for employees returning onsite to work is Derek Lope, shown here at the Blackberry Gate security booth. Things got a little busier for Lope at the beginning of July with the start of the Pilot 2a phase, which allowed 200 more employees to come onsite.
August 4: Donate Blood at City of Berkeley Drive
Someone in the U.S. needs blood on an average of every two seconds, but blood donations have dramatically decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Consider donating blood at a City of Berkeley-sponsored drive on August 4 at Berkeley High School.
