IGB Building Dedicated Wednesday; Expect Traffic Delays and Parking Impacts

The Integrative Genomics Building, future home of the Joint Genome Institute and KBase, will be dedicated on Wednesday. The dedication ceremony will run from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and there may be traffic delays near the roundabout at Chu, Smoot, and Alvarez roads. Parking will also be impacted. https://stratcomm-elements.lbl.gov/2019/06/14/igb-building-dedicated-wednesday-expect-traffic-delays-and-parking-impacts/

Downtown Shuttle Stop Relocated to Addison St.

Because the queue of passengers that forms for downtown shuttle buses has created access issues for the Patelco Credit Union, the stop has been moved to the south side of Addison St. between Shattuck and Oxford. The Lab’s Transportation group thanks riders for their patience with these changes.

Access to Stadium Rim Way Blocked Next Week

The south end of Stadium Rim Way will be closed due to road work from Monday, June 3, through Thursday, June 6. Drivers who normally use this route can access the Lab via Blackberry Gate or follow detour signage to access Centennial Drive along the north end of Stadium Rim Way.
