A crane lift near Bldg. 59 is closing Chu Road between Blackberry Gate and Bldg. 65 from Saturday, Aug. 3, at 12:01 a.m. until Sunday, Aug. 4, at 8 p.m. to vehicles, however bikes and pedestrians can enter. Update: Location for Downtown Shuttle Stop Changed Again
In an update of a previous post on a location move for the downtown shuttle stop, the new location is just south of the corner of Shattuck Ave. and Center St., in front of the GNC storefront, starting on July 29. Signage will be posted in that area to mark the new location.
Wildfire Evacuation Drills for Berkeley Hills Residents
The City of Berkeley is holding a series of wildfire evacuation drills for residents of the Berkeley hills. The drills will be Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Aug. 4, 11, and 25. The drills may increase traffic around Berkeley and the Lab. H2 Parking Closed Friday, July 26
To accommodate the Postdoc Career Fair in Building 50 and nearby locations on Friday, July 26, the H2 parking will close on Thursday, July 25, at 5 p.m. through Friday, July 26. Vehicles will need to be removed from this lot prior to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
New Shuttles to Antioch and Pittsburg BART Stations
Tri Delta Transit is offering shuttle rides to the Antioch and Pittsburg Bay Point BART stations from nearby neighborhoods. Each ride is $2 and could be an alternative for those who normally park at those stations. Potter St. Shuttle Changes Arrival Times
Beginning Monday, the Potter shuttle will arrive at Bldg. 65 at 10 and 40 minutes before the hour, giving riders time to make meetings on the hour and half-hour.
