Centennial Midday Road Closure Continues
On Monday and Tuesday, Centennial Drive between the Lawrence Hall of Science and Grizzly Gate will have both lanes closed from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for tree removal with Grizzly Gate closed during those hours. Centennial Drive Midday Closure Continues
Centennial Drive between the Lawrence Hall of Science and Strawberry Gate will be closed in both directions, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for tree removal. Downtown Shuttle Stop Moving Temporarily
Due to construction in downtown Berkeley, the Lab’s BART shuttle stop will move to the north side of Center west of Shattuck (past the Wells Fargo ATMs) as of Dec. 19. Storm Drain Repair Work This Week
Crews will be working on storm drain piping near Bldgs. 76, 66, and 31 today through Thursday evening. Detours and traffic controls will be set up in these areas from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each evening. Orange Shuttle Moves Back to Original Route
Starting today, the Orange shuttle will revert back to its original route, entering and exiting via Strawberry Gate and using Centennial Road to reach the campus, downtown area, and the Lab. The route was temporarily shifted to accommodate tree work on Centennial Drive.
Update On Centennial Tree Removal Project
Centennial Road will have one lane open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays during the ongoing tree removal project, with traffic delays of ten to 15 minutes. Grizzly and Strawberry Gates will be open during their normal hours. Access to Pit Lot Closing at 10 a.m for One Hour
Blackberry Road access to the Pit parking lot will close at around 10 a.m. today to clear a downed tree. Work will take approximately an hour. The lot will be open until removal starts and will reopen shortly after the removal is complete. Attendant-assisted parking is operating this morning.
