Employees Help Raise Lab Awareness at Solano Stroll
Last Sunday, more than 25 employees volunteered at Berkeley Lab’s booth at the Solano Stroll, the largest street festival in the East Bay. Hundreds of visitors stopped by the booth to learn about the Lab and interact with hands on activities.
Military Veterans Learn Job Hunting Skills at Lab

Volunteers Sought for STEM Day at Fairyland

Visiting Faculty Integrates Computing and Humanities
Hood College professor Xinlian Liu is at Berkeley Lab this summer as part of the Visiting Faculty Program, which enables teachers to work with researchers at national labs. Wildfire Evacuation Drills for Berkeley Hills Residents
The City of Berkeley is holding a series of wildfire evacuation drills for residents of the Berkeley hills. The drills will be Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Aug. 4, 11, and 25. The drills may increase traffic around Berkeley and the Lab.
