Merchant Receives Moore Foundation Investigator Award
Sabeeha Merchant of the Environmental Genomics and Systems Biology Division has been named one of 15 Symbiosis in Aquatic Systems Initiative Investigators. 2020 LDRD Awards Announced
The Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) program awarded $23 million to 96 projects for fiscal year 2020, an increase of slightly more than $1 million from FY19 levels. Safe Water Proposal Makes MacArthur 100 & Change Cut
A technology developed by the Lab’s Ashok Gadgil (ETA) — which helps stem arsenic poisoning in poor, rural areas via safe drinking water — has been named by the MacArthur Foundation as a Top 100 proposal in their “100&Change” competition. ESnet Team Wins Exemplary Trophy
Michael Dopheide, Vlad Grigorescu, and Sam Oehlert of the Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) cybersecurity team received an “Extra Special Noteworthy Exemplary Trophy Award” for their SANS 2019 Holiday Hack Challenge entry.
