A large tent will be set up in the H2 parking lot near Building 70 to accommodate a 200-person conference next week. All vehicles will need to vacate the lot by no later than 5 p.m. Friday, April 5. The carpool spaces in Lot H2 will be moved to Lot J. The lot will reopen Friday, April 12.
TFIIH, a large protein assembly that helps repair and read our genome protein assemblies, is essential to survival, yet little is known about how it functions. Greg Zaborski, Jr., a former Marine and Mechanical Engineering major at the University of California Berkeley, is the first recipient of the scholarship.
