Join the API ERG to discuss the documentary “Far East Deep South” with writer-director Larissa Lam and producer Baldwin Chiu on Wednesday, June 29. Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, and Liberation Day, is celebrated annually on the 19th of June. Akshay Sharma grew up in India, earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He later earned a master’s in mechanical engineering at Columbia University.
